Ilion

Mary performed in the afternoon for the Ilion Free Public Library. The performance took place in the Knights of Columbus building next to the library. Ilion is not quite as far west as Utica, and is just south of the Mohawk River. Although on the way there we took the Thruway to the Herkimer, we decided to take Route 5 back to Albany. A few miles east of Herkimer, we were turned back because Route 5 was closed. We went back into Herkimer, crossed the Mohawk again, and took Route 5S East to Rotterdam, and then the Thruway the rest of the way. The weather here today was more humid than in Hawaii, and by tomorrow it will also be hotter.
