Infatuation

Meditating on the Gospel has led me to believe that in some ways the first disciples experienced infatuation with the Messiah, and that their relationship with Him had to be purified and transformed beyond hero worship. Such growth in awareness was a necessary part of their training which would be put to its ultimate test on Good Friday. . . .
