Albany Assessment 2

Went down to the Department of Assessment and Taxation in Albany City Hall yesterday afternoon. For a row house such as ours one- and two-family homes are comparable. Should look for a house in our neighborhood with at least as many baths, not many more (= small) bedrooms, and not less than 100 SFLA (square foot living area) than ours. Assessed value is more important than sales price.
