The Riverway Storytelling Festival

Am enjoying the Fifth Annual Riverway Storytelling Festival, seven days of storytelling by 30 storytellers in 23 events. Also took part in the Annual Spring Cleanup Day and BBQ Party sponsored by the Center Square and the Hudson/Park Neighborhood Associations. How is it that these things are being accomplished by ordinary people I know, whereas plans for the Jacques Barzun Centennial are going nowhere?
